The Cool Solutions staff has long been active in various professional and industry societies, including:

•  ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), including service on its Technical Committees for District Energy (chair from 1999 to 2001), Thermal Storage, Cogeneration Systems, Energy Resources, and Combustion Turbine Inlet Cooling
•  IDEA (International District Energy Association), including service on its Board of Directors (for 5 years), on the Executive Committee (for 2 years), and as co-chair of 3 annual Cooling Conferences
•  TICA (Turbine Inlet Cooling Association), including service as a founder, Director, Vice President, Vice Chairman, and Chairman, as well as service chairing the Information Development Committee
•  ARI (Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute), including service as Vice Chair and Chair of the Thermal Storage section, as well as service on the ARI Board of Directors and a leading role in the development of ARI's performance rating standard for Thermal Storage equipment
